Summary

Develop a sound understanding of computing and IT in as little as one semester. The Graduate Certificate in Computer and Information Sciences is designed for people who already have a degree.

Throughout the Graduate Certificate in Computer and Information Sciences you gain the ability to plan, develop and apply appropriate technologies and tools to frame and solve computing problems.

You choose papers from the Bachelor of Computer and Information Sciences to make up a total of 60 points.

At least 45 points must be at level 7. You can include 15 points from any other bachelor’s degree, with the approval of your programme leader.

Entry criteria

A bachelor’s degree OR
Relevant professional qualification or experience approved by the Dean (or representative) to be equivalent to a bachelor’s degree

English Language Requirements:

IELTS (Academic) 6.5 overall with all bands 6.0 or higher; or equivalent; TOEFL iBT score of 90; Certificate in English for Academic Study (CertEAS) with A grade; AUT Academic English with B+ grade; CAE minimum overall score of 176; PTE minimum overall score of 58.
