Summary

We have just the strategy to help you go further in your career. A Graduate Diploma in Strategic Management will arm you with skills that are sought after in every organisation. You'll study six courses in leadership, business ethics, managing change and strategic management and two out of four elective courses in different management areas to suit your career goals.

What you will learn

When you achieve this qualification you will be able to think and manage strategically and be able to undertake postgraduate study in management.

This qualification will prepare you for a career in middle to upper management roles in both the public and private sectors.

You can study this programme part-time if you’re an international student living in New Zealand or overseas. If you’re living in New Zealand you will need to be in paid employment with a valid work permit.

Entry criteria

To enrol in this programme you need to have a Bachelor degree. If you have successfully completed the Open Polytechnic Bachelor of Business (Management major) you are unable to enrol in this programme.

International students must also have an IELTS (Academic) score of 6.0 with no band score lower than 5.5, or equivalent.

Cambridge English Qualifications - B2 First, or B2 First for Schools, or C1 Advanced, or C2 Proficiency with a score of 169. No less than 162 in each skill.
