Learn how to foster smooth employee/employer relations and gain skills essential for maintaining a satisfied and effective workforce.

In this graduate diploma you will learn and gain understanding of human resource management practices and processes on organisational effectiveness. You will also learn how to how to apply the theory of human resource management principles to the workplace, helping staff and businesses meet their objectives.

Areas of study you will focus on include employment relations, organisational behaviour, advanced human resource management and contemporary issues in human resource management.

You will combine your knowledge and skills gained into a practical industry project.

Career Opportunities

On completion of this qualification you will be qualified for advisory roles in an HR team in a medium to large organisation or as a generalist operator HR officer in a small organisation. With experience and professional development you can expect to advance to more senior positions or work in recruitment.

Academic requirements

A Bachelor's degree in any field excluding human resource management.

Note: The number of courses you have to complete for this qualification may be reduced where you have relevant credits from previous study, or evidence of similar learning or experience in the workplace.

English language requirements:

IELTS test - Academic score of 6 with no band score lower than 5.5

SPEAKING - 5.5
READING - 5.5
WRITING - 5.5
LISTENING - 5.5

TOEFL Paper-based test (pBT) - Score of 550 (with an essay score of 5 TWE)

TOEFL Internet-based test (iBT) - Score of 60 or higher (with a writing score of 18)

Cambridge English Qualifications - B2 First, or B2 First for schools, or C1 Advanced, or C2 Proficiency with a score of 169. No less than 162 in each skill

Pearson Test of English (Academic) - PTE (Academic) score of 50 with no band score lower than 42
