The Master of Management is designed for students wanting to advance their scholarly research and master their strategic management capabilities. On completion you will be prepared to take on a leadership position in a relevant management context.
You explore the different aspects that make up a leadership role, including communications, finance, strategic planning, human resources, governance and marketing – taught by a team of highly respected and internationally qualified tutors.
By mixing advanced theoretical study with highly applied, work-based learning, you engage in rigorous intellectual analysis and learn to apply new skills and techniques to existing or emerging issues in the workplace.
Your advanced level of work-integrated practice and knowledge will contribute to high-level management and performance improvement, particularly (but not exclusively) in the areas of business, health, hospitality, or information technology.

FURTHER STUDY OPTIONS: Courses Currently Under Development at Toi Ohomai, or Offered at Other Institutions. If you have completed the 90 credit Thesis, you'll be able to progress to PhD study at Level 10.
An undergraduate degree with honours or postgraduate diploma in business or related field of study.
You will need to provide a statement of research interest with a clearly articulated problem or opportunity statement and supporting research objectives.
You will also need to provide two letters of reference from persons familiar with your academic or professional experience.
You will also need an Academic Research Supervisor who is a good match to see you through your thesis.
IELTS Academic score of 6.5 with no band score lower than 6.0; TOEFL Internet-based Test (iBT) score of 79 (with a writing score of 21); TOEFL Paper-based test (pBT) score of 590 (with an essay score of 5.5 TWE); Cambridge English Qualifications: C1 Advanced or C2 Proficiency with a score of 176. No less than 169 in each skill; OET: Minimum of Grade C+ or 300 in all sub-tests; PTE (Academic) score of 58 with no band score lower than 50.
