Summary

The Graduate Certificate in Business is just the stepping stone if you want to go further in your career within business or management. All you need to get started is an undergraduate degree. You’ll study three courses from a wide variety of options to suit your career goals or interests. You can study accounting, marketing, leadership, strategic or project management, HR, and more. Specified papers that you need to complete for Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand membership can also be studied as part of the Graduate Certificate in Business.

When you achieve this qualification you will be able to:

  • understand a variety of business concepts, processes and procedures relevant to public and private organisations
  • identify opportunities, solve problems and achieve business objectives
  • select and apply appropriate qualitative and/or quantitative techniques.

You can study this programme part-time if you’re an international student living in New Zealand or overseas. If you’re living in New Zealand you will need to be in paid employment with a valid work permit.

Entry criteria

To enrol in this programme you need to have a Bachelor degree; or equivalent professional qualification.

International students must also have an IELTS (Academic) score of 6.5, with no band score lower than 6.5, or equivalent.

Cambridge English Qualifications - B2 First, or B2 First for Schools, or C1 Advanced, or C2 Proficiency with a score of 169. No less than 162 in each skill.
