Summary
The aim of this course is to develop learners’ English language skills at a level so they can be confident in using English with native speakers. Learners should develop elementary English language skills and be confident in applying them to familiar topics and to understand how to use basic language for everyday tasks. By the end of this course they should operate more independently when performing more demanding tasks such as opening a bank account, making appointments over the phone, talking to their child’s teacher etc. Upon completion of this course students will be ready to enroll on the Kiwidotcom English (Pre-intermediate). Entry Requirements: Minimum of 14 years old; Students are required to hold a current visa and medical insurance; There are no academic requirements for this course; Students are required to sit an internal placement test or provide validated evidence of English proficiency prior to start of the course to establish their entrant level. Intake: Every Monday. Credits: 27.5
