Our English for Academic Purposes (EAP) programme is designed to help you excel in your chosen field. Learn to communicate with confidence and improve essential study skills in an English-speaking academic environment. MUC offers a flexible teaching structure that is tailored to you depending on your future study choices. This programme is for you, if: You plan to study our Foundation Certificate (International), you will complete our English for Academic Purposes 1 (EAP1) programme. You are preparing to enter university directly, and already have a higher level of English, you will complete English for Academic Purposes 2 (EAP2). For students who need to gain extra language confidence, you are able to take EAP1 followed by EAP2, before transitioning to university. The EAP syllabus and programme dates have been carefully designed to allow students a smooth transition from English to tertiary studies. With 5 intakes per year, we’ll make sure you’re ready for further study whatever time of the year you need to start. Students are required to complete the recommended program duration according to their current English level. Entry to EAP 1 requires an IELTS of 5.0 overall (no band below 4.5).
