The field of Dental Technology is continually evolving with digital advancements, revolutionising how prosthetic appliances are designed and manufactured.Imagine the satisfaction of designing and crafting artificial teeth such as complete and partial dentures, crowns, bridges, orthodontic appliances and implant-supported dentures. A growth area is the use of Computer-aided design (CAD) and computer-aided manufacturing (CAM) to create precise, custom prosthetics with digital workflows, like;3D printing to fabricate dental appliances with material efficiency, offering innovative solutions for temporary and permanent restorations.Milling to produce crowns, bridges, and implant-supported dentures with exceptional precision, ensuring optimal fit and durability.Dental technicians work behind the scenes in high-tech laboratories rather than directly with patients, their expertise is vital in producing high-quality, customised prosthetic solutions. Dental technicians' work is hands-on, and they learn to visualise the 3D perspective.
