Programme structure

Students are required to enrol in following courses and complete 60 points:

POPLPRAC 772: Symptom Management in Palliative Care (30 points)

POPLPRAC 773: Challenges in Symptom Management in Palliative Care (30 points)

POPLHLTH 777: Ethics and Societal Approaches to Death (30 points)

POPLPRAC 774: Psychosocial Issues in Palliative Care (30 points)

IMPORTANT: Students required to complete 30pts from POPLPRAC774, POPLHLTH777 and 30pts from POPLPRAC772, POPLPRAC773.

Entry criteria

You must have completed an undergraduate degree at a recognised university (or similar institution) in a health-related discipline such as health sciences, medicine, nursing, optometry, pharmacy, psychology, or social work.

you must be a health professional currently working in these service areas.

IELTS (Academic): Overall score of 6.5 with no bands less than 6.0; Internet-based TOEFL (iBT): Overall score of 90 and written score of 21; Paper-based TOEFL: Overall score of 68 and a writing score of 21; Cambridge English: Advanced (CAE) or Cambridge English Proficiency (CPE): Overall score of 176 and no bands below 169; Pearson Test of English (PTE) Academic: Overall score of 58 and no PTE Communicative score below 50; Foundation Certificate in English for Academic Purposes (FCertEAP): Grade of B-; Michigan English Language Assessment Battery (MELAB): 85.
