Most papers last one semester and are worth 15 points. Only a selection of elective papers is offered in any given semester. Students must complete 120 points in total, including one compulsory Research Methods paper.

Entry criteria

One of the following:

  • Bachelor of Computer and Information Sciences or equivalent OR
  • Graduate Diploma in Computer and Information Sciences or equivalent OR
  • Relevant professional qualification or experience approved by the Dean (or representative) to be equivalent to a bachelor’s degree

English Language Requirements:

IELTS (Academic) 6.5 overall with all bands 6.0 or higher; or equivalent; TOEFL iBT score of 90; Certificate in English for Academic Study (CertEAS) with A grade; AUT Academic English with B+ grade; CAE minimum overall score of 176; PTE minimum overall score of 58.
