Study the Postgraduate Diploma in Computer and Information Sciences and explore the latest thinking and developments in computer and information sciences in as little as one year.
You can choose from a wide range of papers – including artificial intelligence, big data, bioinformatics, 3D technologies and software architecture. Broaden your knowledge of specialist fields of computer and information sciences, and develop advanced analytical, planning and critical thinking skills. The programme can prepare you for further study in the Master of Computer and Information Sciences.
You choose from papers that range from artificial intelligence and software systems engineering to knowledge engineering and information systems technology.
Most papers last one semester and are worth 15 points. Only a selection of elective papers is offered in any given semester. Students must complete 120 points in total, including one compulsory Research Methods paper.
