What you will learn

When you achieve this qualification you will:

  • understand a variety of business concepts, processes and procedures relevant to public and private organisations
  • be able to identify opportunities, solve problems and achieve business objectives by the use of suitable techniques with reference to ethical frameworks
  • be able to critically evaluate the international, cross-cultural, economic, social and legal environments within business functions
  • be able to anticipate, adapt to and promote changes important to a business
  • have a more developed understanding of your major area of specialisation, including the ability to select and apply appropriate qualitative and quantitative techniques.

Entry criteria

To enrol in this programme you need to have one of the following: New Zealand University Entrance or Hold a New Zealand Certificate or Diploma qualification considered appropriate by the programme leader, or equivalent.

20 years old or over: If you are 20 years of age or over and do not hold the minimum entry requirements you will be eligible to be enrolled where your previous educational, work or life experience indicates you have a reasonable likelihood of success.

IELTS test – a score of 6 (Academic) with no band score lower than 5.5 or equivalent.

Cambridge English Qualifications - B2 First, or B2 First for Schools, or C1 Advanced, or C2 Proficiency with a score of 169. No less than 162 in each skill.
