Summary

Ardmore Flying School is a professional Flight Training Organisation (FTO). It has been operating since 1961 and focusses its professional integrated training courses on professional airline pilot training. Courses are available to provide a Certificate in Aviation (Commercial Licence and Multi-engine Instrument Rating) or Diploma in Aviation - either Airrline Preparation or Flight Instruction strands.

Individual and airline cadet pilots are catered for and the school provides accommodation and complimentary transport as part of its training packages.

The school currently has 12 Cessna 172 single engine aircraft, both analogue and G1000 equipped, and a DA42 Twin Star multi-engine aircraft (another due to join the fleet by the end of July 2019). There is a single engine simulator, a multi-engine simulator - both with visual systems and a fixed base Pacific Simulators EuroJet A320 simulator. Airconditioned classrooms, and modern equipment with plenty of space and a staff of over 40 completes the package.

Ardmore Flying School is located in Papakura,near Auckland city, and has easy access to contolled airspace and open general handling training areas.
