Cashmere High School, Te Iringa o Kahukura, is nestled beside the Heathcote River and Cashmere Hills in the South side of Christchurch.

The school’s mission is to develop both the intellect and character of our students by fostering academic and personal excellence through quality teaching in a friendly and supportive learning environment.

Cashmere has a very impressive visual arts programme, in Years 12 and 13 students can specialise in art design, art painting, art photography and art print making.  A high number of our students achieve excellence in this area and go on to tertiary study in fine arts, design, animation, graphics and photography.
