Kuranui College is situated in the town of Greytown in the beautiful Wairarapa region just one hour by road or rail from New Zealand's capital city, Wellington. Kuranui College excel in a wide range of academic subjects. The college's specialist Outdoor Education Academy offers an exciting programme which inlcudes: Surfing, diving, caving, bushwalking, rock climbing, mountaineering, kayaking and rafting. The college also offers Aviation Studies in which students learn about the aviation industry and also learn to fly to solo status in gliders at a nearby airfield. Both Outdoor Education and Aviation Studies can be studied as part of New Zealand's National Certificate of Education (NCEA).
