The Bursary will be known as the “New Zealand NCUK University of Waikato Bursary” and will be awarded in the 2021 and 2022 academic years only. 2. The Bursary will be awarded to international students who have completed the NCUK International Foundation Year, International Year One or Master’s Preparation programme and are enrolling in full-time study at the University of Waikato, in New Zealand. This study must be undertaken face-to-face and cannot be done solely online. 3. The value of the Bursary for each recipient will be up to $6,000 and will be applied to the recipient’s tuition fees. The amount offered for this Bursary is at the discretion of the University of Waikato and will be based on criteria such as, but not limited to, total available funding, grades, number of credits enrolled, period of enrolment. The Bursary will be applied in two instalments for students entering undergraduate study (as described below) and as one payment for postgraduate programmes of study at the University of Waikato’s Hamilton and Tauranga campuses.
An unlimited number of bursaries are available to NCUK graduates who meet the eligibility requirements and are progressing to degree-level study at the University of Waikato in New Zealand, in 2021 and 2022. No application is required.
