C. Wright Mills Scholarship in Criminology

Eligibility Criteria

This scholarship is open to graduates of any university in New Zealand or of the University of the South Pacific, who are enrolled or intending to enrol full-time or part-time in a Masters by thesis or a PhD in Criminology at Te Herenga Waka—Victoria University of Wellington. A recipient of this scholarship who is not already enrolled in a programme for a Master of Criminology (MCrim) or a PhD in Criminology should normally be enrolled in such a programme by 31 March in the year following application. A recipient who is unable to enrol by the applicable deadline must seek permission from the Associate Dean of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences to take up the scholarship at a later date. Without this permission, the award will be terminated.
