Eligibility Criteria
The scholarship shall be known as the Westpac Southland Scholarship. It shall be open to any student who has completed at least one academic year at the University of Canterbury and whose earlier youth was spent substantially in Southland and whose parents, or guardian, are resident in Southland at the time of the award.
Applicable enrolment during tenure: Open to students who has completed at least one academic year at the University of Canterbury and whose earlier youth was spent substantially in Southland and whose parents, or guardian, are resident in Southland at the time of the award.
Tenure: Two years

Applications close with the Registrar, University of Canterbury, no later than 5.00 p.m. on 31 March.
