Applicants must have studied at secondary level either (1) in Aotearoa New Zealand, or (2) overseas at Te Aho o Te Kura Pounamu.1 International students who meet these requirements are eligible to apply.
Applicants must not have been enrolled in a degree programme at any tertiary institute. Participation in STAR courses, community education courses offered by tertiary institutions, orientation, or general interest programmes run by tertiary institutions for secondary school students does not preclude application for the UC Engineering Top Achievers Scholarship.
Tenure: Two years
Applicable Enrolment During Tenure: The scholarship is tenable during full-time enrolment in a recipient’s first two years of a programme for a Bachelor of Engineering with Honours (BE(Hons)) degree at the University
