In your first year you’ll develop a depth of business knowledge and skills required for any commercial context. This includes skills in management, leadership, accounting, marketing, HR, law, economics and sustainability, as well as knowledge of Treaty of Waitangi/Te Tiriti o Waitangi. Then across your second and third years you’ll dive into business transformation and change - where you’ll learn how to identify, assess and manage changes that need to be made for businesses to thrive. Additionally, you’ll develop leadership skills to direct transformation in response to the turbulent, ever-evolving world of business in New Zealand and internationally. Your studies will explore project management, leadership, organisational behaviour, business transformation and change, and strategic management. You’ll develop practical capabilities for change management, strategic planning, project management and leadership. In addition, you’ll channel the knowledge and skills you acquire into a practical industry project for a local business or organisation, in which you’ll address business issues or advance business opportunities. In the process, you’ll strengthen your understanding of transformation and change. Part-time up to 10 years.
