New Zealand Certificate in Language Teaching. Upon successful completion of this course, you will have a nationally recognized qualification from NZQA and the experience to work in New Zealand and overseas in such roles as language tutors, teacher aides, or language assistants. WIE can also assist you in preparing to find employment abroad, in countries like Japan, China, South Korea, Vietnam, and others.

Entry criteria
Applicants must be 18 years and above, completed high school or higher(domestic candidates required at least 10 credits in NCEA level 2 English). If English is not your first language, at least IELTS 5.5, NZCEL Level 4 Certificate or equivalent is required.
All candidates must pass a safety check to complete the practicum components of the course in accordance with the requirements of the Vulnerable Children Act 2014.
