Take your study of te reo Māori to the next level with our Te Pokaitahi Reo (Te Kaupae 3) course. You'll develop an intermediate level of understanding of te reo, using it to contribute positively to the development of te reo kia tika, kia rere, kia Māori. The course also acknowledges regional variances in te reo. Te Pōkaitahi Reo (Te Kaupae 3) is offered through evening classes for part-time study and day classes for full-time study. The part-time option is one evening per week, 5.30pm - 8.30pm and runs over 2 semesters (32 weeks) with online Moodle activities (minimum of five hours per week) and four weekend wānanga (learning forums). It's suited for those who work during the day. The full-time option is Monday – Thursday, 9am – 3pm and runs over 1 semester (16 weeks). This course follows on from the full-time level 2 language course in Semester 1. Both options combine online learning with face to face class time.
