Summary
This highly practical programme covers welding, fabrication, machining, fitting and maintenance, along with embedded safety, drawing, trade theory, calculations and communication skills. It also includes a series of trade-relevant engineering projects. Please note: in order to undertake this programme you must be physically able to work safely in an industry-related work environment. Please note: the fees for this programme will increase for enrolments starting in Semester 1, 2025. Students starting this programme in Semester 2, 2024 won’t be affected by the fee increase, even though the programme continues into 2025.
