You'll be immersed in learning that prepares you for the dynamic and rewarding nature of healthcare. To thrive in UCOL's Bachelor of Nursing programme and meet the demands of learning experiences, you will need to be prepared for:

  • Clincal and laboratory-based learning
  • Clear and confident communication, especially with people from diverse backgrounds and in busy or noisy healthcare settings
  • Staying calm under pressure, particularly fast-paced or emotionally challenging clincal environments
  • Undertaking physically demanding nursing tasks
  • Safe handling of clinical equipment and supplied, often while wearing personal protective equipment (PPE)
