Summary

The PGDipArts is an alternative to the Bachelor of Arts (Honours). You can choose from a wide range of Arts subjects and may be able to include a dissertation. This programme might be for you if you want to undertake advanced study without writing a dissertation, if honours degrees aren't recognised in your country, or if you would like to study part-time over a longer period. You can use a completed PGDipArts with a GPA of 5.0 or higher as an entry qualification for the one-year Master of Arts.

Entry criteria

Minimum requirements listed here are the likely grades required and do not guarantee entry. We assess each application individually and applicants may require a higher grade to be offered a place. You must have completed a Bachelors degree, including the prerequisites for your intended subject, as detailed in the BA(Hons) Schedule. You will need a GPA of 3.5. If you do not meet the above entry requirements, but have other relevant experience and think you would be successful in postgraduate study, please contact us to discuss alternative pathways into our programmes.
