Summary

Want to develop the skills for a career in IT project management in as little as one year? Study the Master of IT Project Management at AUT.

Gain the skills to design, implement and manage agile software development projects throughout their life cycle. Enhance your project management skills in agile organisation concepts, team facilitation, risk and change management for IT projects.

Practical components like the Research and Development Project will give you opportunities to apply what you learn in class to the real world.

Entry criteria

Minimum entry requirements

Must have completed one of the following (or equivalent) with a B grade average or higher:

A relevant four-year bachelor’s degree; or
A relevant bachelor’s degree with honours; or
A relevant postgraduate diploma

And

Have relevant software engineering or information technology project work experience approved by the dean (or representative)

English language requirements

IELTS (Academic) 6.5 overall with all bands 6.0 or higher; or equivalent
