More detail about this qualificationThe Master of Information Technology (MIT) requires the successful completion of a minimum of 180 credits from level 8 and level 9 courses.
There are three pathways for completing a Master of Information Technology.
All courses are 15 credits unless stated otherwise. For more details about each course, please refer to the Postgraduate IT Course Descriptions provided on this page.
The following structure is proposed for the three available pathways:
Career optionsA bachelor's degree or postgraduate qualification in information technology or related subject with at least a B grade average at Level 7 or 8, and be deemed to have the acquired skills and knowledge through relevant work or professional experience.
*Domestic fee displayed is for 18-months, or 1.5 years of study (equivalent to 180 credits) but is subject to annual fee increases.
International StudentsMinimum IELTS (academic) score of 6.5 with no band score lower than 6, or equivalent.
