Academic IELTS

20 hours per week – Morning and Afternoon

Our Academic IELTS classes help students develop the skills required to improve their exam scores.

Students learn how to write reports and essays, and develop their vocabulary for a variety of academic topics. They are taught techniques for reading and listening more effectively, and how to better express themselves while speaking.

The course is divided into 6-week blocks. There are three levels, with each level taking 12 weeks to complete. Students who are accepted into the course can start at the beginning of any 6-week block.

Students are required to sit a pre-test before taking the course to determine their correct class. This pre-test is normally taken at school, but is also available to be taken online for students off-shore.

The courses are full-time and are open to students at intermediate level and above. Students whose English does not meet the required level are encouraged to join a general English class before entering the IELTS courses.
