The Graduate Certificate in Health (GradCertHlth) provides foundational knowledge in a short timeframe - ideal for professionals seeking targeted expertise.
It is a great option if you are looking to break into the health sector, even if you are not currently employed in the industry, by helping you develop relevant skills and competencies for employment. Additionally, this Certificate can serve as a stepping stone to postgraduate study and research.
By learning to engage in professional, ethical, and reflective health practices, you can begin to address challenges and solve problems in diverse health contexts.
For entry to the Certificate, you will need to have either previously completed a bachelor’s degree in Aotearoa (or equivalent), or have at least 5 years of relevant work experience in a health-related area.
If English is not your first language, you are also required to meet UC's English language requirements. If you need help meeting these requirements, or would like to practise your English skills before studying, UC offers English for Academic Purposes (EAP) language programmes.
