Virtual Production allows for a higher level of innovation blending traditional filmmaking with digital enhancements, requiring a diverse skillset working across platforms and technologies.

Studying towards UC’s Postgraduate Certificate of Virtual Production (PGCertVirProd) enables you to build foundational skills in virtual production tools and storytelling, preparing you for either professional advancement or further postgraduate study.

Entry requirements

To apply to the PGCertVirProd, you will need to have one of the following: * a bachelor’s degree in a relevant subject, with at least a B grade average in your 300-level courses

  • a bachelor’s degree in any subject, plus relevant professional or work experience
  • appropriate practical, professional, or scholarly experience
  • other qualifications of an equivalent standard.

If English is not your first language, you are also required to meet UC's English language requirements. If you need help meeting these requirements, or would like to practise your English skills before studying, UC offers English for Academic Purposes (EAP) language programmes.
