School leavers cannot apply directly to the MBChB; they are advised to apply via First Year entry. Please note: You can only apply once under the "First Year" entry category, and only in the year in which this study is undertaken. Applicants with more than two aegrotat or compassionate consideration passes in First Year are not eligible for consideration under the "First Year" entry category. You can only apply once under the "Graduate Entry" category for each qualifying programme attained. Entry criteria will change for 2028 entry, please review the relevant entry requirements carefully. For 2027 entry, you will be required to sit the University Clinical Aptitude Test for Australia and New Zealand (UCAT ANZ) in the year of application. For 2028 entry, you will be required to sit the University of Auckland situational judgement test (Casper) in the year of application. Shortlisted applicants will be required to participate in a Multiple Mini Interview (MMI). Special entry schemes are available for domestic students.
