Diploma in Applied Christian Ministry (Internship)

Summary

Successful students will be able to develop and implement a strategic ministry plan in an area appropriate to their gifting and inclination under the supervision of a specialist ministry mentor, critically evaluate their performance when outworking the ministry plan, and integrate new learning into their skills ands attitudes. They will be able to identify and apply key leadership principals, select, build and lead a team effectively to create a positive team environment, experience growing more deeply in the area of personal Christian values, especially trusting in God, personal holiness, personal integrity and spiritual growth through a supportive and experienced personal mentor, recognise and apply important self evaluation processes critical to successful long term ministry and demonstrate contemporary, practical knowledge and insights in the areas of ministry specialisations needed for career paths within the Christian church or for volunteer positions carrying a high level of responsibility and autonomy.
