Summary

The Master of Marketing is designed for anyone with an unrelated degree who wants to study marketing at master’s level and develop the skills for a professional marketing role.

Advancements in technology are prompting increasingly diverse buyer behaviour – and making marketing a critical part of any modern business in the process.
A Master of Marketing can provide you with career opportunities in a wide range of business, management and other professional fields. Roles include marketing, sales, brand management, business development and market analysis.

The Master of Marketing is taught over three 12-week trimesters. Each trimester includes 12 weeks of teaching with exams scheduled in week 13.
There are three key elements: Core professional knowledge and skills in marketing (90 points), associated business knowledge and skills (45 points), and a research project in marketing (45 points).

Entry criteria

Must have completed a bachelor’s degree (in any discipline) with a B- grade average in papers at level 7 or equivalent.

English Language Requirements:

IELTS (Academic) 6.5 overall with all bands 6.0 or higher; TOEFL iBT score of 90; Certificate in English for Academic Study (CertEAS) with A grade; GIE with B+ grade; CAE minimum overall score of 176; PTE minimum overall score of 58.

IELTS may be waived (at the discretion of the Programme Director)

For a student who has completed a qualification, the language of instruction for which was English, and which was awarded within the last 3 years
For a student who has lived and/or worked in an English speaking environment for 3 years
