Hear from previous winners
Malika Arora
Bachelor of Viticulture and Oenology at Lincoln University
I always wanted to study agriculture and plant-based subjects, and when I came upon this course I was really fascinated. Along with my passion for studying plant anatomy and morphology, I would also learn about the making and processing of grapes and how the wines are made. Here I am, fulfilling my passion and having the best time at Lincoln.
Chris Ferdinan Thomas
Master of Applied Science in Food and Agriculture at University of Otago
The work-based project provided me an opportunity to intern with a company and gain the practical skills and on- the-job experience required to be work ready. The skills I learnt at Otago have been invaluable now that I'm in a work environment.
"Being part of the MA programme has been incredible, surrounded by a talented cohort and inspiring alumni. Writing can be isolating, but the support from my professors and peers keeps me motivated."
