Do you have a natural interest in baking, cooking, or food in general? Turn your passion into a creative career and take your skills to the next level with an industry-recognised qualification.
This hands-on course will give you the knowledge and experience needed to enter the hospitality industry as a trainee baker. You will master techniques for producing, finishing, and presenting a wide range of basic and contemporary bakery items.
Delivered over one semester, with full and part-time options available, you will learn in a real-life kitchen environment at our purpose-built facilities from industry-expert tutors and work together in a team to produce bakery items for sale.
This programme is open to anyone who wants to study. You don't need any previous study or work experience to apply.
Selection criteria
English language requirements
Candidates who have English as a second language are required to have an International English Language Test System (IELTS) academic score of 5.5, with no individual band score lower than 5.0; or equivalent.
