Summary
This programme will prepare students for higher-level study, training, and/or employment in New Zealand. Students will consolidate oral and written English language skills to use and understand complex English for a wide range of situations and will expand their face-to-face, independent, and online learning study skills.
Entry criteria
General admission
- Candidates must be 16 years or older.
- Candidates must have achieved NZCEL (Academic) (Level 4); or
- Have achieved an overall IELTS score of 6.0 with no individual band score lower than 5.5, or equivalent; or
- Candidates must take part in a selection interview and will be required to take a placement test to determine their current English Language level and learning goals.
Selection criteria
Candidates must demonstrate a reasonable chance of success in the programme.
