Summary

This programme is suitable for both registered electricians and industrial measurement and control technicians looking to further their knowledge and qualifications in the industrial automation sector. It has a combination delivery of distance learning combined with two short practical courses with delivery spread over two years.  The programme is focused on the industrial discipline of process automation. The distance learning environment includes extensive on-job investigation and an automation project for students.Students will develop knowledge and skills in important core areas, including instrumentation and automation, safety systems, hardware and software systems, and selection and specification of control and automation equipment for process control, or process automation systems.
