Summary
An IELTS-Free pathway into a postgraduate level programme of study. This is a full-time, 14 week pathway course designed to help students to achieve success in their tertiary studies. The NZCEL (L5) will equip learners with English language proficiency and the academic skills in listening, speaking, reading and writing to enable them to successfully enter into programmes at the postgraduate level without having to complete IELTS.
Entry criteria
Successful completion of the New Zealand Certificate in English Language (Academic) Level 4; or IELTS 6.0 (with no band less than 5.5) / TOEFL iBT 60 (with a writing score of 18) / PToE academic score of 50 / AIS Test of English Proficiency (TEP) 52/80 (with no band less than 12); and 16 years and over
